30,000 Reasons to Read 30,000 B.C. Chronicles

Ok! So I don't really have 30,000 reasons to read 30,000 B.C. Chronicles! But here are three really excellent reasons to give this series a try:

1. It's an intoxicating mix of the future colliding with the past. It's part Star Trek, part the Land of the Lost. It's like nothing else I've ever read. Survivors of a time traveling expedition from the future must go native when they are stranded 30,000 years in the past. They have a few relics from the future to help them survive such as computers, suits that cloak and protect them and several special tricked out kayaks. But they are still vulnerable to the wild world they find themselves in. They must learn to think fast and make life and death decisions every day. As they deal with their prehistoric predicament, they keep computer logs of their experiences and what they discover along the way.
2. It's well thought out, thoroughly researched and completely believable. The complex characters are all unique and have interesting back stories. From religious zealots to scientific purists and everything in between, the characters clash, fall in love and do unspeakable things to each other and the natives. The not too distant future is a bleak and dreary place, somewhere I can see our world headed now. The prehistoric world is fresh and beautiful but deadly, a place where either you are prey or predator, you kill or be killed.
3. The series just keeps going and going and going! And you will want to just keep reading and reading and reading! Talk about getting lost in a story! The survivors from the future continue to have one crazy adventure after another in prehistoric times and you will love every minute of it!

There are four books currently available with a fifth book coming out in 2017. I read through each book, one after the other, and I had a hard time putting them down, sometimes reading until the wee morning hours!

I'm a romantic at heart with an overactive creative mind and an artistic soul. I've always been an avid reader - I read as much as I can as often as I can! Writing has been a life long dream that I haven't allowed myself to pursue until just recently. In April I finally published my first novel - Naupaka Blooming, a Hawaiian Reincarnation Romance. And now I'm working on the first book in a new fantasy thriller series called Summer's Shadow.
